Literature Text

I fainted when I was out for my morning run. Now I’m stuck in this stupid hospital with doctors trying to shove a literal metric ton of food down my throat every hour, taking vitals, including my weight - but they won’t let me have a scale of my own in my room. It wouldn’t be so bad if they didn’t keep force feeding me so much.

I’ve been there one night and the next day when they weigh me, I’ve gained a whole pound. The doctors go on about how great this is (“that’s progress in the right direction!”), my parents tell me I’m such a good girl (like I’m a dog), my fat sister – the one I’m trying not to become – gives me a hug with tears in her eyes. The whole time, I’m losing my shit.

That’s 3,500 calories I’m going to have to find a way to avoid eating or burn off once I get out, and now everyone’s on high alert. They’ll be watching me like hawks, trying to make me fat like them.

Day three and I’ve gained a full three pounds. How is that even possible? How do you gain a pound every day? The doctors say something about water weight, but all I hear is weight. They say I have to gain another five to seven at the very least. I hope I don’t have to get that fat before they’ll let me out.

By the time I get to go home, I’m going to be a blimp.

256 words; no adverbs.

Misuse of the word 'literal' was intentional; I hope it comes across that that's just the voice of the character.

I hope this one is acceptable and I succeeded at the challenge :XD:
