For the 100 themes challenge, this is 26. Tears.
Hemlocke's dad needed more screen time. I think how absent he's been from my drawings and writings has only made me more curious about/fascinated with him. O_o I also chose him to draw because he's just such a different subject for me, both in drawing AND writing. He's just a vastly different demographic than I usually draw/write about.
So here he is at his son's best friend's funeral.
***REVISED - NEW VERSION UPLOADED Aug 21 2013. I darkened a lot of shading, mainly, bringing out certain details and, in my opinion, the emotions, a lot more strongly.

It's good to see him get some screen time! I think his eye turned out especially well... also his nose!
